YOU HEARD ME
Psalm 116:1-2
“I love the Lord, for He heard my voice; he heard my cry for mercy. Because he turned his ear to me, I will call on him as long as I live.”
I don’t need to take anyone’s word for it, Lord–I know You answer prayer. I love to hear of others who have called out to You, and how You soothed their pain…but I don’t need those examples for assurance. I know of Your goodness and mercy. I have been the one to call out in desperation. At times when I felt the most undeserving of Your attention, You turned Your ear to me and were faithful.
You reach out to me in my darkest hour and You hold me, comfort me, and see my sorrow. Your compassion is a balm for my soul. My tears fall freely at the thought of Your unconditional love. I don’t need to be convinced of Your mercy, because when I cried out to You, my Lord, You heard me.

True. We see evidence of God many times every day – but the biggest, the indisputable evidence of a living God is the REALITY of my relationship with Him. He is just as real to me as anyone I know.

Anna, I am sure this was for you. There is not one thing I post on here that does not get prayed over in advance. I always pray this, “Father God, in Jesus name, guide my hands and my eyes to the very thing You have today for someone who will come and read it here. Speak to those whose eyes shall see!” I do this with my promise book, my prayer book, and everything else! So I’m sure God had you in mind for this dear sister! God bless you!
