The Seeing Blind
Isaiah 59:10
“Like the blind we grope along the wall, feeling our way like men without eyes.”
When I am not tapped into the Spirit, I let demands, schedules, and requests direct my steps. I grasp for anything that appears to be stable but am often deceived. Help me reach out for You as I stumble along.
Let me draw on the wisdom of Your Spirit. I want to rely on Your truth to lead me forward. I do not want to walk like a blind man, when I have been given Your gift of sight through Your leading. May I be strong enough to resist the pull of the world’s demands and walk straight and steady.

I am sure every believer will identify with your words. Too often we tend to go our own way. What fools we are, groping along, when perfect guidance is right at hand. What an amazing God that the very second we call out to Him, He is there!
