“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.” Psalm 32:8 (NKJV)
“The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in His way.” Psalm 37:23 (NKJV)
After my brain surgery, my world and past life seemed to vanish and I had to start all over again. I could only see 3 feet in front of me and this irritated the planner inside. However, now I understand it was God’s wisdom. I had been through so much that I was easily overwhelmed. Seeing what God wanted me to do and what I would have to face in the upcoming years would have been too much for me to handle. Faithfully, I took one step forward and then the next.
Now that I am healthier, I am better able to see farther into my future, God is showing me a path that has a view that reaches into new destinations. I can now handle the view. I am not overwhelmed or fearful.
If you are in the middle of a life change or some adversity, do not fear what lies ahead. God is leading you to new places and He is your guide. He knows every step of the way, every possible obstacle, and He will keep your feel from stumbling.
Read His Word and find instruction and encouragement from within. They will be a lamp onto your feet and light to your path. Trust in the wisdom of God. He knows your weaknesses; let Him be your strength. He knows your flaws; let Him perfect them and bring the dross to the surface. He knows your fears; trust Him to change them into courageous moments.
“Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” Psalm 119:105 (NKJV)
