“We have to pray with our eyes on God, not on the difficulties.” Oswald Chambers
“Pray without ceasing” 1 Thessalonians 5:17 (NAS)
When you approach the throne of God, you should do so with confidence. With praise and a thankful heart, share your prayer requests with your Father. However, you should be aware of any doubt within you as you petition the Lord.
In James 1:6-8 we are instructed to ask in faith, not doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.
When we seek God and send up our prayer requests, be assured that He hears them all. He will answer each one as He sees best. Thank goodness He has our best interests at heart and is wise beyond our comprehension. In fact, He is wiser than our prayers. So keep praying, but expect His answers to be perfect and possibly different from what you originally imagined when you first sent them heavenward.
