“Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.” John 5:14-15 (NKJV)
How can we expect to know God if we don’t spend time with Him? How can we expect answered prayers if we refuse to petition? How is it that prayer has slipped by the wayside?
I encourage you to step into your personal prayer closet today and lift up petitions for those you love. While you are in there, don’t forget the lost, the leaders of this nation, the suffering, the poor and hungry, and of course…. Yourself! He loves us all so very much.
“And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.” John 14:13-14 (NKJV)
